Bitumen Testing Equipment

It is used for determination of butumen percentage in bitumen mix. It is centrifugal type. Consist of a removable Rotor bowl capacoity of 1500gm with cap & tightening nut. The bowl assembly is mounted on a vertical shaft which rotated manually by enclosed gear in the cast body & Handle . For adding solvent , hole is provided in the cap of housing. At the bottom, a drain pipe is provided for draining out the dissolved bitumen coming out from the bowl.

• Solvent.

Same as above but shaft is rotated by an electric motor and gear. Care is taken to prevent solvent entering into the rotor of electrical motor. Operates on 230 Volts A.C. single phase.

Consist of Marsh Cone with 4.8mm dia. approx. bottom hole with stand
